Whether you’re a fan of the Harry Potter movies or not, this thrill ride should be at the top of your to-do list at Universal Hollywood. Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey is located inside the enormous Hogwarts Castle, which serves as the queue for the ride. The castle is an attraction in and of itself, allowing you to walk through iconic locations such as Dumbledore’s office and the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom. Once you reach the end of the line, it’s time to take flight and soar over the castle grounds as you meet a variety of magical characters and creatures from the wizarding world.

Mobility device users must transfer out of their scooter or wheelchair prior to getting on the ride. Thankfully, the ride does have a non-moving transfer station for guests who may have trouble transitioning onto a moving platform.

This one-hour tour takes you through four acres of the historic Universal Studios lot. However, this isn’t the standard tour that you would find at other film studios in the L.A. area, as the tour integrates with some of the immersive attractions at Universal Studios Hollywood, including the Jaws, King Kong, and Fast & The Furious rides. You’ll also get to see one of the largest street sets in film history, which was constructed with consultation from Steven Spielberg himself!

Manual wheelchair users – and most electric wheelchair users – can remain in their chairs for the duration of the experience. Mobility scooter users, on the other hand, will need to transfer out of their device to go on the tour.

At the time of its release, WaterWorld was one of the most expensive films ever made. While it may not have been able to live up to its soaring budget, the WaterWorld Show at Universal Studios Hollywood captures all of the spectacle, stunts, and special effects that fans of the movie adore. Watch as water skiers, jet skiers, divers, and stuntmen fly through the detailed set, all capped off by an explosive plane crash that will leave you amazed.

Even better, WaterWorld is one of the most accessible attractions in the park, as both electric wheelchair and mobility scooter users can remain in their devices for the duration of the show. Ask an attendant to direct you towards the designated mobility device parking area once you get in.
