Scootaround’s special “Meet & Greet Service” is mandatory if you are staying on Disney properties. As part of this service, we deliver the device directly to you at any Disney World hotel or resort at a time of your choosing. This personalized service allows our personnel to give you an orientation with your rental equipment and ensures you are comfortable using your mobility scooter rental prior to venturing into the parks. If you are staying elsewhere in Orlando or Kissimmee, we can drop the equipment off at your hotel in advance so it is waiting for you when you arrive.

What is the best mobility scooter model to rent in Orlando?

For navigating Orlando’s many theme parks, you can’t go wrong with a Standard or Heavy Duty Scooter. These devices have a superior driving range, allowing you to spend all day using the scooter without needing to recharge. Standard and XL mobility scooters are also slightly more spacious and comfortable than smaller models. However, if you’ll be exploring the city and frequently need to transport your scooter in the trunk of a car, you may want to go with a Transportable or Transportable XL Scooter instead. Yes, we provide FREE delivery to all locations within 25 miles of our Scootaround Orlando location. Minimum rental of 2 days.

Where do I store the Orlando mobility scooter when I’m not using it?

Accepted Answer

Please store the scooter in your hotel room, residence, or Airbnb whenever possible. Transportable and Transportable XL Scooters can fit through most doorways thanks to their thinner width and ability to disassemble. The hotel may also allow you to store the scooter behind the front desk in some instances. Be sure to call your accommodation in advance to determine what will be best.
